Tron Legacy Teaser Movie Trailer [HD]

It’s still a disney movie, it’s for a mass audience, and I’d be very surprised if they brought in anything even remotely controversial or even intellectual in terms of storyline. (cue “you’re a snob” comments, which couldn’t be further from the truth) (sorry for the multipart, but .. youtube)

Avatar had a completely boring very predictable story, and the most controversial thing about it was how it pretended to be about tolerance while going out of its way to show a very common (in storyterm) kind of faschism. I did like the gfx, but those were not enough to make me think it was a good movie in any way.

no. I’m not asleep apparently, I’ve just seen a lot of movies. To put it in terms you might understand : TRON was like StarWars IV, Avatar was full of Jar Jar Binks … in blue.

@sammyF70 Hmmm no, I didn’t get the Jar Jar Binks reference. But it’s your opinion, and I didn’t nothing that might change mine. I still think that Avatar is a great movie with story and visuals.
But since you said that you have seen a lot of movies, that explain why you found it predictable.

I found it somewhat predictable, but overall still a great movie.

This looks too much like real life for the inside of the computer. Not the CG, but for instance the movements of the bikes are not precise, they are rounded, which is not at all the way a computer program would run, if you think about it, it was better the first time.

Kinda feel like this Tron is for our generation, where computers are so precise today that they Can be rounded, lol i dont know. This Tron looks great, a sequel set to our time.

I saw this in the theatre when i went to see alice in wonderland… MAN! Does this look fuckin epic!!! O_O

if it wasn’t Disney it wouldn’t have had a huge budget, and probably wouldn’t have been made.

Maybe, but I loved the old Tron style, and if they attempt anything too “realistic,” I will be truly more disappointed than I already am in Disney.
